Brian Mirau is the founder and president of Mirau Capital Management and is a well-known speaker and investment advisor in New Mexico and Texas. With more than 30 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, Brian’s sound, conservative advice and tax-saving strategies have helped numerous people grow and protect their retirement assets. Brian believes the financial planning process does not need to be confusing and complicated in order to be effective and efficient, so he strives to keep it simple. Brian knows each person’s situation is unique and there is no cookie cutter approach to delivering financial advice. Brian and his wife, Karen, have been married for over 35 years, have three children and 2 grandkids. Mirau Capital is built on strong family values, which is why we strive to keep you up-to-date on issues that matter to you, your family and your financial well-being.

He is a past agency manager and has hired and trained over 130 agents. Originally from South Texas, Patrick graduated from Texas A&M University. He has been married to his wife, Dianne, since 2005, and they have two children, Evan and Emily. Patrick loves traveling, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Jeff has been in the financial services industry since 2010. Jeff currently holds a Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 License, along with Insurance Licenses. He enjoys using his knowledge and experience to help clients to plan for their financial future. Jeff is from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, and moved with his wife and young twins to Albuquerque (his wife’s hometown), in 2010. Active with his family and community, Jeff is also the President of the New Mexico Ice Hockey Foundation since 2014, and spends much of his free time working to enhance youth hockey opportunities for New Mexico families.

She holds her insurance licenses and is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the National Ethics Bureau. Karen holds a BBA from McMurry University. Karen grew up in the Middle East, and before attending McMurry, she attended Tehran American School in Iran. Karen and Brian have three children: Casey, Megan and Sarah. Karen enjoys spending time with her family and two grandbabies, as well as spending time outdoors in the mountains of Ruidoso.

She is a native of Ruidoso, NM where her and her husband have raised their five children.
